These terms apply to Study Method Trainer and the ORIMENTIS website. By using either, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not continue using the relevant service.
1. Provider
Study Method Trainer and this website are provided by ORIMENTIS LTD. Questions can be sent to support@orimentis.site.
2. Using the app
Study Method Trainer is provided for personal learning. You may use it on your own compatible devices for as long as it remains available to you. You must not misuse the app, attempt to interfere with its operation, distribute unauthorised copies or present its content as your own product.
3. Educational content
The techniques combine commonly used study practices with general ideas from learning research. They are general study guidance, not academic, medical or other professional advice. Results vary between people, subjects and circumstances.
You remain responsible for choosing how to study and for checking the requirements, information and advice provided by your school, university, training provider or professional body.
4. Your content
Anything you type into an app exercise or reflection stays on your device and belongs to you. ORIMENTIS makes no claim over it and the app never transmits it. You are responsible for what you enter and for avoiding content that you do not have the right to use.
5. Progress and local storage
The app keeps progress locally so you can resume and review practice. ORIMENTIS cannot see, recover or remotely restore that data. Resetting progress and uninstalling are permanent. The app opts out of cloud backup and device transfer as part of its privacy design.
6. Website use
You may view and use this website for personal information and support. Do not use it unlawfully, attempt to compromise it, automate excessive requests, introduce malicious material or falsely imply an association with ORIMENTIS.
Links that open your email or telephone application are provided for convenience. Your chosen service provider controls those applications and communications.
7. Intellectual property
Except for third-party materials identified on the licences page, the app, website, product name, copy, layout, graphics and other materials are owned by or licensed to ORIMENTIS LTD. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
8. Open-source components
Study Method Trainer includes open-source typefaces, icons and Android components. Those materials are provided under their respective licences, which may grant rights beyond these terms. Nothing here limits rights given by an applicable open-source licence.
9. Availability and changes
Future versions may add, remove or revise techniques and features. The app or website may occasionally be unavailable, changed or discontinued. Continuing to use a new app version means accepting the terms shipped with that version.
10. No warranty
The app and website are provided “as is” and “as available”. While they are built to work reliably, no guarantee is made that they will always be available, be free of defects or produce a particular study outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ORIMENTIS is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the app or website. This does not exclude responsibility where exclusion is not legally allowed.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the product, website or applicable requirements change. The current version and effective date will be published here. Materially different app terms will be included with the relevant app version.
