2. Study Method Trainer app
What the app collects
Nothing is collected or shared by ORIMENTIS. The app has no account system, analytics or advertising, and it never sends your data anywhere.
What is stored on your device
Your practice sessions, exercise answers, reflections, favourites, streaks and settings are written to a private database and preference file inside the app’s storage. Other ordinary apps cannot read that storage.
Internet access
The app does not request Android’s internet permission and does not make network requests. Every technique, exercise, recommendation and calculation runs offline. The typefaces and icons it uses are bundled with the app rather than downloaded.
3. Backups and device transfers
The app opts out of Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. Its private database and settings remain only in the current installation. As a result, ORIMENTIS cannot remotely restore lost or deleted app progress.
4. Notifications
If you turn on the daily reminder and, where required, grant Android’s notification permission, the app schedules a local notification on your device. Nothing about that reminder leaves your phone. Reminders can be changed or disabled in Settings.
5. Deleting app data
Settings contains Reset progress, which permanently deletes your sessions, exercise answers, reflections, favourites, daily history and streaks. Uninstalling the app removes everything it has stored, including preferences.
6. This website
The website itself contains no advertising, analytics scripts or tracking pixels. It does not include an online account or web form. Choosing a light or dark theme can save that preference in your browser’s local storage; it is not sent to ORIMENTIS. See the cookie policy for details.
If this static website is placed on a public hosting service, that provider may process ordinary technical request information, such as IP addresses and request times, to deliver and protect the service. Any such processing is controlled by the chosen hosting provider and should be reviewed when the site is deployed.
7. Direct contact
If you contact ORIMENTIS by email or telephone, the information you choose to provide will be used to understand and respond to your enquiry. Email and telephone providers may process the communication under their own terms. Do not send private exercise answers or reflections when requesting support.
Enquiry records should be kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support history, meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.
8. Children
The app is designed for a general learning audience. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The current recommended store audience begins at age 13.
9. Your choices and rights
Because app information never leaves your device, ORIMENTIS does not hold an app profile to access or correct. You control that local information through the app and Android.
For information you have provided directly to ORIMENTIS, you may ask a privacy question or request access, correction or deletion by emailing support@orimentis.site. Whether a request applies can depend on applicable law and any legal requirement to retain information.
10. Changes to this policy
If the app’s or website’s data practices change, this policy and its effective date will be updated before materially different practices are introduced. The current version will be published on this page.
